The Global STEM Education Center, Inc (501) (c) (3) nonprofit corporation brings together educators, K-20 students and corporate partners to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) educational initiatives that prepare students with the skills to succeed in diverse, international, team-based contexts.
On behalf of the GSTEM team, we are happy to welcome you to the Global STEM Education Center! Established in 2007, initially represented by the DOME Foundation (Diversity and Outreach in Math and Engineering) and later joined by GTEC (Global Technology and Engineering Consortium), our team will be celebrating our 17th anniversary in July 2024! The 2024-25 school year is going to be our 15th year of successfully running the Global STEM
Classroom® program and also the 17th year of our programs in diversity and inclusion in STEM education! Together with our colleagues and students in the US and around the world, we are looking forward to expanding our partnerships and programs!
Since our first days, we were generously hosted by Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, located in the town of Needham in the greater Boston, MA area. Our very special thanks to the President of the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, Dr. Richard Miller for his strong continued support during all these years! As a true global leader in engineering education and supporter of innovative initiatives, President Miller recognizes the importance of global STEM education and global partnerships in STEM and provided our first “home.” Thank you!
All major universities, many innovative K-12 schools and all major STEM corporations are in the process of broadening global opportunities and significantly expanding their network of STEM education through partnerships with STEM programs around the world. There is an open invitation for the global community in academia, STEM corporations, government and professional associations to join them to promote Global STEM collaboration. The Global STEM Education Center is our response to the invitation.
Our very special thanks to ALL our partners! Their continued support is absolutely crucial! Once again, welcome to Global STEM Education Center! Together with our colleagues and students around the world, we are looking forward to expanding our partnerships and programs!
We hope our vision inspires you as much as it inspires us! We would like to hear from you. We invite you to join us on our journey! Welcome to 21st Century education! Welcome to the next new world!
