Our signature annual event is the Global STEM Education Symposium. The 11th Annual Symposium on Global STEM Education will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019. This will mark the 6th Annual Symposium co-sponsored and hosted by the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. The Inaugural Symposium was held on May 2, 2014, and the second on May 29, 2015. All symposia have taken place at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. The ongoing, year-round planning for the Global STEM Education Symposium is managed by the Global STEM Education Conference Committee, chaired by Dr. Isa Zimmerman and Larisa Schelkin, CEO of Global STEM.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have transitioned to hosting all our events virtually. This shift has allowed us to continue engaging with our global community while ensuring the safety and well-being of our participants. By leveraging online platforms, we’ve been able to expand accessibility and participation in our events, bringing even more educators, students, and leaders together.
