Dianne Brennan offers unique talents in the arts of executive coaching and consulting for executives and organizations, based on 25+ years of solid, hands-on working experience with managers, entrepreneurs, executives and management teams. Starting with a core achievement in the health care field where she has practiced as a Coach, Consultant, Physician Practice Executive and Nurse, she has broadened her area of expertise to include: Business Operation Development (Operations Analysis, Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness) and Management Development (Leadership Assessment, Organizational Culture, Strategic Thinking). Brennan is a Master Certified Coach (MCC), the credentialing designation offered by the International Coach Federation (ICF) where Brennan served as 2008 President of the organization. ICF is the professional association for coaching with more than 15,000 members in over 92 countries. The organization's purpose is to advance the art, science and practice of professional coaching. A graduate of Coach University, an internationally recognized program for training coaches, Brennan also holds a certificate in Evidence Based Coaching Certificate from Fielding Graduate University, where she served as curriculum consultant and training coordinator for the year-long coaching program (2006 & 2007). During this process, she developed curriculum and was responsible for the overall skills development design, faculty training and development, curriculum delivery, measurement and evaluation for the program. Brennan is co-editor and contributing author of the book, “The Philosophy and Practice of Coaching: Insights and Issues for a New Era,” Jossey-Bass, UK, (April 2008).
Russell Faux, Ed.D. studied philosophy at the Universities of Chicago and Wisconsin before turning to education and completing his doctorate at Boston University. He taught language and literature for six years at the University of Padua in Italy. After a year as a Spencer Scholar at Stanford University, Dr. Faux returned to Italy as a research consultant for Bolt, Beranek, and Newman. Dr. Faux held senior research positions at TERC and Riverdeep Interactive (perhaps best known for the Carmen Sandiego software) before starting Davis Square Research Associates in 2001. His work encompasses qualitative and quantitative methods, including grounded theory, instrument development and validation, quantitative modeling, and social network analysis. DSRA clients have included the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, Purdue University, the University of Maine, Tufts University, the Boston Museum of Science, Boston University, the University of Massachusetts, the U.S. Department of Education, Houghton Mifflin, Verizon, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Tatyana Fertelmeyster, MA, LCPC is a founder and principal of Connecting Differences: Training, Facilitation, Consulting and Coaching. She provides Intercultural Communication and Diversity training to corporate clients, educators and mental health professionals both nationally and internationally. Tatyana is a co-author of the Russian version of Cultural Detective™ and a Master Trainer of Facilitators for Cultural Detective™. She is a long time associate of Kochman Mavrelis Associates, a highly acclaimed diversity consulting company. Tatyana is a faculty member at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication in Portland, OR. The list of her clients contains a number of corporate, academic, and governmental organizations including Boeing, Hewitt Associates, NVIDIA, Alcoa, Sara Lee, General Motors, International House (Berkeley, CA), Triton College (River Grove, IL), Harper College (Palatine, IL), Portland State University, University of Illinois Extension Program, Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (IL), Illinois Department of Employment Security, and Illinois Department of Human Services. Vitaliy Popov, PhD, is a Post-Doctoral Research Scholar at the Mobile Technology Learning Center. Vitaliy completed his PhD in Educational Technology at the Education and Competence Studies Group, Wageningen University & Research Center, in the Netherlands. For his dissertation, Vitaliy explored the processes that promote intercultural collaborative learning by implementing digital tools in online learning environments for university students. Vitaliy designed and implemented studies described in his dissertation in which over 500 students from more than 55 countries worked together with the help of collaborative technologies. As a PhD candidate at Wageningen University & Research Center, Vitaliy supervised undergraduate and graduate students, taught an intercultural communication skills course and assisted international blended learning projects. In 2011, he worked as a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan, School of Information. Since 2012 he has worked as a consultant for the Global STEM Education Center in Boston, MA. Over the past six years, Vitaliy has presented several papers at international conferences such as, “American Educational Research Association” and the “International Conference on Computer Supported Collaborative Learning” and published articles in international peer-reviewed scientific journals such as, Computers in Human Behavior; The Internet and Higher Education; Technology, Pedagogy and Education; and the International Journal of Intercultural Relations. Vitaliy’s areas of interest include: computer supported collaborative learning, mobile learning, learning sciences, learning analytics, and technology-enhanced learning across cultures.
